The Oxford University Ceilidh Band is a friendly, non-auditioning ceilidh band, founded in 2011. We play at ceilidhs and pub sessions across Oxford, and are an official society of the University of Oxford. We give our members the opportunity to play a huge variety of folk music, no matter their previous experience, and provide a relaxed rehearsal environment as well as the chance to play at gigs across the city. We're available to book for ceilidhs, whether it's a college event, birthday party, wedding, ball, or anything else!

We can be booked for ceilidh dances or concerts, at a competitive (negotiable) fee. We provide a caller to teach and lead the dances: you don't need any previous experience of ceilidh dancing to have a great time at a ceilidh! As a student band, we primarily take bookings in walking/cycling distance of Oxford city centre, and during (or close to) Oxford term time.
